| Follow the steps in the Climate Control Install Guide [Here] to get to the floor shifter.
 Remove the four screws holding the shifter cover down.
Move the shifter cover up and take it off. To remove the bulb, just twist it out. Now just remove the stock bulb. It will take some force, those small bulbs don’t like to come out. Just wiggle it out. Replace it with the wedge LED.
Test the LED make sure its working if not then take it out and turn it 180 degrees and try again. If you purchased a red or white LED, just Reassemble and you are done. If you purchased a blue LED follow the rest of the install guide below.
If you are using the Blue LED you will have to modify the display to allow the blue light to come through the P and the N. Turn the shifter cover and unscrew the two screws holding down the indicators.
Remove the plastic piece that has the letters on it. It is glued down so you will need to pull on it.
Next, remove the light filter from the plastic piece that has the letters on it.
Gently remove the paint under the P and N. Use a sharp knife with a smooth blade to scrape off the paint. Careful not to scratch the plastic. The picture shows a shifter from a different car, but this will give you an idea of what will need to be done.
Reassemble in the reverse order, be sure you test it to make sure you have removed all of the paint from behind the P and N.
