This is what you will need:
- Small amount of electrical tape
- Pliers
- Mono Adhesive (Permanent) - You can find it at office depot. here

Let's get started

Follow the steps in the Climate Control Install Guide [Here] to remove the climate control unit.

The blue arrow points to electrical tape that covers the orange defrost button. This will aid in mounting the LED assembly, and will not allow for the red light to be mixed with blue light, for a purer red color. You should already have electrical tape where the red arrows are pointing.

Get to the buttons, and take the defrost button off. Place the LED assembly on the square hole. The electrical tape will help hold it in. I used some Mono permanent adhesive on the back of the LED assembly so it would stick even better to the electrical tape. (I highly recommend this.) Try to place the LED in the center of the square button. (The LED is the white component on the assembly.)
*BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THE THIN WIRES, THEY ARE EASILY BROKEN. *

Now you need to run the wires. You can see the path that I ran the wires. You may find a different way to run the wires, but this is how I did it. Once you bend the thin wires, they should pretty much stay in place.

Here is a picture of the wires coming out with the front face put back on

Now to get power to this LED, we will have to solder the wires to one of the LEDs that we converted. The blue wire will be soldered to the negative (-) side, and the red wire will be soldered to the positive (+) side (on the contact side of the resistor. You do not need to strip the wire as the solder is hot enough to melt the coating around the wire.
